起源
操り人形（マリオネット）の「糸」で操られる比喩に由来し、「操る条件・縛りがない」→「条件なし」の意味になった。
注釈
「条件なし」「縛りなし」の比喩。契約・援助・恋愛（体だけの関係等）でも使うが、カジュアルでやや含み（下心/裏条件）の話題にもなり得る。
