起源
鳥が空を自在に飛ぶ姿＝束縛がない象徴、という比喩から。英語の直喩「as … as …」の定型で広く使われる。
注釈
「束縛がない／解放された」ニュアンス。日常会話でよく使うが、少し詩的。法的な自由というより気分・生活上の自由を指す。
