起源
押されたときにかかとを地面に踏み込んで踏ん張る動作が比喩となり、「譲らない・態度を硬化させる」の意味で定着した表現。
注釈
「意地を張る／強硬になる」ニュアンス。交渉・議論で譲らない場合によく使う。やや否定的で、相手を非難する含みになることがある。
