起源
指がすべて親指だと細かい作業ができない、という比喩から「極端に不器用」を表す英語表現。
注釈
ややユーモラスに「不器用さ」を言うくだけた表現。自己卑下や軽いからかいで使うが、相手を強く貶す場面には不向き。日常会話向け。
