come what may

No matter what happens; regardless of future events or difficulties.

From older English where “come” meant “happen/occur.” The phrase expresses resolve to proceed despite unknown future circumstances; it appears in English literature from at least the 19th century.

Slightly formal/literary and often used to show determination or commitment. In casual speech, “no matter what” is more common.
